| European Liaison Officers |
|
|
European
Liaison Officers have been appointed in
all NASC partner organisations. They act
as a focal point for EU matters and facilitate
the organisation's involvement in European
programmes and projects. A key function
of the European Liaison Officer is to
establish and develop dissemination mechanisms
for channeling European information, coming
from the Brussels Office and other sources,
to personnel within the organisation and,
where appropriate, to external groups.
The
European Liaison Officers within the NASC
partnership form a network and meet as a
group every two months. The network functions
as an information resource and seeks to
develop joint project initiatives. |
